International Hug a Librarian Day...

Yes, it may sound a bit strange, but today we are celebrating the international hug a librarian day. Where the origins of this custom, and day, originate from I have no idea, but it is not such a bad thought at all... we all need a hug every now and then. But I really hope the librarians do know about this before you all run in hugging the first librarian you see, or we will begin seeing a lot of strange hashtags. When I did some research about this day, for another of the places I write, I found a nice BuzzFeed written by Sarah Galo back in 2015; " 17 Stories That Will Make You Want To Hug Your Librarian ". Head over and have a look, many of those stories are really cute. The Librarian plays a very important role in our society, the books he/she provide are packed with knowledge, insights into a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, prayer and helpful advice.
